American Astronaut Marsha Ivins Tours Serbia

American astronaut Marsha Ivins will tour Serbia, May 18-22. One of only 56 female astronauts, Ms. Ivins is a veteran of five space shuttle missions. Ms. Ivins presents a history of human spaceflight through NASA images, including first-hand accounts of Shuttle missions, the storied Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs, and the International Space Station.

During her stay in Serbia, she will visit Nikolaj Velimirović Elementary School in Šabac, Valjevo Gymnasium, Kraljevo Public Library, American Corner / Cultural Center Novi Pazar, Faculty of Education in Jagodina, American Corner Kragujevac, Smederevo Public Library, Sremski Karlovci Gymnasium, and American Corner Novi Sad.
