DS has begun advertising the event, but there is no official estimate of expected participants. Embassy personnel have been advised to exercise caution if in the vicinity of the rally.
Additionally, there will be a high-profile soccer match this weekend. Partizan will play Red Star on Sunday, April 26 at 6:00 p.m. at Red Star stadium in the Dedinje neighborhood of Belgrade.
We remind all U.S. citizens that demonstrations and events intended to be peaceful can become unpredictable and violent. You should exercise caution if you are within the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, demonstrations, or sporting events.
