Event:  As of April 2, the Serbian Ministry of Health announced 1171 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Serbia.

Ambassador Godfrey hosted a Virtual Town Hall for U.S. citizens on Facebook yesterday, Thursday April 2 at 3:00 p.m. discuss the current situation on the outbreak of COVID-19 in Serbia and to provide an update on efforts to assist U.S. citizens and Legal Permanent Residents. You can view the Town Hall and answers to submitted questions on our Facebook page.

The U.S. Embassy in Serbia is exploring all options for assisting U.S. citizens in Serbia, including a possible special flight.  One special flight left Serbia for Los Angeles on March 26, following an announcement via STEP, on our website, and on our social media pages.

If there is another flight, it will likely be your last chance to return to the United States until commercial flights start operating again, and will likely be at very short notice.  We encourage all U.S. citizens or Legal Permanent Residents to register their interest in a possible flight by filling out this form now.  We must have a separate form for each member of your family/group.  Currently, we do not have any information about a flight.

U.S. citizens are encouraged to enroll in our Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive Alerts, and check our Embassy COVID-19 webpage for updated information as it is released.
